Flashpoint reveals new intelligence platform

Flashpoint Ignite

U.S.-based risk intelligence company Flashpoint announced the release of a new intelligence platform that accelerates cross-functional risk mitigation and prevention across cyber threat intelligence (CTI), vulnerability management, national security, and physical security teams.

Ignite combines intelligence with an integrated user experience to help organizations streamline workflows, quickly find relevant information, and reduce exposure to cyber and physical threats, according to Flashpoint. The platform delivers a holistic, real-time picture of all pertinent risks while reducing silos that can result from disparate intelligence feeds from multiple specialized partners, the company added.

Ignite offers text, video, and image Optical Character Recognition (OCR), rule-based alerting, news-style finished intelligence reports, personalized dashboards and easy access to Remote File Inclusions (RFIs), which can be requested in-platform and quickly completed by Flashpoint’s Intel Team comprising 100 analysts who speak more than 35 languages.

Future augmentations will soon be made available via the expansion of Flashpoint’s partnership with Google Cloud on AI-driven innovations signed earlier this month, which will support the delivery of generative AI to Flashpoint customers. Read more about this partnership here.

Founded in 2010 in a one bedroom apartment in New York City, Flashpoint is now trusted by governments, commercial enterprises, and educational institutions worldwide, helping organizations protect their most critical assets, infrastructure, and stakeholders from security risks such as cyber threats, ransomware, fraud, physical threats, and more. Security practitioners—including physical and corporate security, CTI, vulnerability management, and vendor risk management teams—rely on the company’s intelligence platform comprising open-source (OSINT) and closed intelligence, to proactively identify and mitigate risk and stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape, according to its corporate website.
